The first G7-Ministop store is officialy opened in Ho Chi Minh City

This is the first time, brand Ministop presence in Vietnam. Before that, Ministop were presented in South Korea, Philippines and China.

On 8 /12, then first convenience store G7-Ministop in Vietnam was officially opened at 225 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

G7-Ministop is a joint venture between G7Mart Co. belong to Trung Nguyen Group (contributing 75% of capital) and Ministop – a member company of the No1 retailer in Japan - AEON.

This is the first time, brand Ministop presence in Vietnam. Before that, outside of Japan, Ministop were presented in South Korea, Philippines and China.

Shop G7-Ministop model combines fast food with convenience store. A special feature of this system stores the absolute priority for Vietnam goods.

In addition, a number of Japanese foods, manufactured in Vietnam, also sold at the store.

The introduction of Vietnamese-branded merchandise in-store system G7-Ministop is also open trade gate to gradually bring Vietnam goods on sale in Japan and other countries around the world.

With the joint venture between two famous retailer brands will create conditions for building and developing a distribution system leading retailers in Vietnam.

G7Mart considers Ministop as a strategic partner with a high consensus on the business philosophy, experience and leading technology in the modern retail sector.

Through the partnership, G7Mart will study the experience of the retail industry as establish a system stores, distribution centers, information technology systems, logistics systems and supply chain, operating manuals and training…

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Nobuyuki Abe, CEO Japanese Ministop said that G7-Ministop will continue to expand the market to meet consumer demand in Vietnam in the near future.

Many new G7-Ministop stores will be opened later, the number of stores will increase to 30 outlets in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in 2012./.
